Kitty Frisk House is an elegant and spacious Edwardian house, located on the edge of the lovely old Abbey town of Hexham, five miles south of Hadrian's Wall.

The house is set amidst mature woodland in its own extensive grounds. Its comfortable interior benefits from central heating and the large bedrooms are en-suite or have private bathrooms. Tea and coffee making facilities, Radio and colour television are provided in each of the rooms, but should you prefer a residents lounge is also available. For the comfort of all smoking is not allowed within the house. There is a summer house situated within the grounds where you can rest in a hammock or chair after your days exertions. The large car parking area is off road in front of the house.

Northumberland holds a wealth of interest to the lover of history, especially Roman Britain and the wild turbulent days of the English and Scottish Border clans. On nearby Kielder Water there are water sports for the enthusiast or a pleasant day out for all.

Lovely Northumberland, its hills and valleys, Castles and Keeps, Golf, Fishing, Riding, Clay-pigeon shooting - all available to the visitor. Hexham Races are held two miles from Kitty Frisk House most months of the year. From the house the East and West coasts are within easy reach as is the North Pennines and Scottish Border. The house is an ideal base for touring, walking or cycling. Information packs on the area are available for guests in the rooms. There are a number of Restaurants catering for most tastes, located close to the house, where you can spend a pleasant evening.
